HPL- Prepping with Arthritis
January 21, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST
Available now on YouTube
This week’s show is all about arthritis and what you can do for a back up plan in case the pharmacy shelves were empty.
How Arthritis Can Slow Us Down
Arthritis can leave us with painful knees, hands, and neck. The joint pain of arthritis can lead to a decreased range of motion, difficulty walking and difficulty with manual tasks. Things like using a screwdriver, sewing, and shooting a firearm are all hindered by arthritis pain.
Most minor arthritis symptoms are handled by OTC pain medicines. Some stronger pain relievers are currently available for more serious cases of arthritis. Both OTC and prescription pain medications come with side effect warnings, and some of them are severe.
Are Pharmacies Really At Risk?
There are all sorts of reasons why a drug store’s might be picked clean. We saw with the recent NotPetya ransomware attack impacting shipping giant Maersk, how easily hackers can disrupt global shipping. Domestic shipping systems are equally as vulnerable to hackers.
Another situation on many people’s minds these days is an EMP. An EMP would bring life as we know it to a grinding halt. Concerns over North Korea’s recent launch of their most powerful ICBM to date are well-justified. That launch proved that North Korea can attack United States mainland, making an EMP attack a viable threat.
There are countless other scenarios that could cause a pharmacy to be cut off from resupply. But, we do have many herbs that can help reduce pain and soothe stiff joints.
In this episode, I will discuss a range of herbs which are anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain relieving), and which block pain receptors. I will explain the best ways to work with these herbs for arthritis relief.
