Herbal Prepper Is Back

I’ve returned to work full time after taking two years off to address some personal health emergencies. I have been itching to get back to work for some time. Of course, I went and picked the start of a global pandemic to do so.

There has been an influx of new readers, mostly due to the global COVID-19 outbreak. Many readers are new to both prepping and to herbal medicine, and have lots of great questions. I will do my best to answer them.

I am working daily to update this site, both with necessary and overdue maintenance on the technical side, but also with new content. Here are a few updates with some of what I’ve been working on.

The Wuhan Coronavirus Survival Manual

The Wuhan Coronavirus Survival Manual

I wrote a new book on COVID-19, The Wuhan Coronavirus Survival Manual.  My good friend, Daisy Luther who runs the fantastic preparedness website, The Organic Prepper, and I were going over all the media coverage, sifting through what we could verify and what we couldn’t.

During this conversation, Daisy asked me to write this book because there was/is so much bad information floating around about this outbreak. So, I combined what was provable, searching out both media and scholarly articles, with some ideas for pandemic preparedness, plus some herbal knowledge on respiratory ailments.

COVID-19 is a serious situation, one that we should all be keeping an eye on. I’m working on a new pandemic preparedness online course and a text book to go along with it. I do not have dates for either of those yet.

The Vision for HerbalPrepper.com

My vision for this site is to build the premier online emergency preparedness and self-reliance school, with a heavy emphasis on herbal medicine. The herbal medicine covered will be for both day to day living and for austere conditions. That’s both a worthy and lofty goal, and there’s a lot of hard work ahead to make that happen.

The site will continue to serve as a hub for my videos, articles, books, and any future podcasting or media appearances. But, self-reliance-centered education with a focus on healthcare is the primary mission.

Herbal Courses

Herbal Courses

All courses here on HerbalPrepper.com need to be updated, and I’m working as fast as possible to make that happen. I am testing out less buggy software to run the courses. I’m just at the beginning stages of updating the courses. I would look for another update in about a month.

Preparedness Courses

In addition to herbal courses, there will be a series of preparedness courses, ranging from free, email-based courses, to courses that are 100% self-directed and online.
