Video: Gymnema Leaf Tincture as a Potential Back Up Plan for Diabetes after SHTF

One of the most challenging areas of prepping is how to prep for chronic conditions that require medications to manage. One condition that stands out is diabetes, especially Type 1 Diabetes, aka insulin-dependent diabetes. The body is dependent upon insulin injections to keep blood glucose at safe levels. Without this insulin, a Type 1 diabetic will die.

When this gets brought up in prepper conversations, the best that we can come up with is to stock up on as much insulin as possible, and to have back up plans to keep it refrigerated. As illustrated in the book, One Second After, this is not always easy or even possible.

There are, however, a number of alternatives for both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics of which many are not aware. Gymnema leaf is one of them. It is NOT a substitute for insulin, and I make no claims of it curing anything. It is, however, something I strongly encourage you to explore on your own before a collapse, especially if you or a loved one is diabetic.

Now, Gymnema is not the only option, and I will be covering prepping for diabetes in more depth. However, here’s a video I made with more information on it.

  1. Hello,

After you make the Gymnema Leaf tincture how would you ingest it?

Also, where can I obtain more information on the Herbal Certification Course? Can I only take the course live?

    Thank you,

    1. Hi Yolanda,

Getting back to your message, how to take Gymnema will depend a lot on individual circumstances. It will require a lot of testing to monitor one’s blood sugar. It’s not something where I can make a generalized statement on dosage or frequency.

The Herbal Certification Course is coming, I lost the bulk of my work on my previous computer, and am recreating literally everything from print outs of older versions of my local course, plus lots of notes. More information will be coming.
